FOR SOME UPRIGHT AUTONOMIST
PRESENTLY MIRED IN A FLAT NEAR EXARCHIA

as in: blocks kid-built, as some amberlight
mellow as sun on karst, as walnut-scent
on figcakes, as brown and petal-flecked bite
as might the cakes of mud might, so boots-rent

as jumping ‘round mud and grass, ‘tween paver
‘tween blocks ‘tween socialist-built lugs, lumber
past antennae, bug-aware : green laver
as damp as bora skies, funk as umber

as in : but that was december, of ass
slapped with baguettes, of offices broken
into, of toyturtles, plastic and crass
pickedup/putback, from where they’re beholden

as beholden as some lips to a neck
three a.m. insomnia : just a peck
